The Porsche 911, an epitome of a German sports car, is a world-renowned import success and dream car - for over five decades and now in its eighth generation. As a vintage car, used car, a classic or a new vehicle, it is a sports car icon par excellence.

Shaped by tradition and innovation, the 911's road to success is traced from the Porsche TS 901/prototype "Fledermaus" (1962) and the Porsche 901/911 (1963) to the Porsche 911 Carrera S (992) from 2019. The picture journey through all 911 generations offers a lot of Porsche and racing history and technical details in front of scenery from all over the world. A photo session of the real models completes each generation-chapter perfectly.

The author Jörg Walz, a passionate toy car enthusiast since early childhood, worked as an editor for various motor media, today a communicator in the automotive industry, places the snapshots of the vehicle miniatures shown here in the real environment and presents a well-assorted digital car museum. The charming interplay between a small car model set into a lively background fascinates, surprises and makes you smile. The originally spontaneously created photo collection is completely simply "iPhonographed", without further aids or artificial arrangements. Thanks to the publication of "#99x911", and her own art exhibition in a Nuremberg gallery, she has also found an analogue reality.
